We got news of Myst coming to 3DS yesterday, but now you can actually see the game in motion, without the 3D of course.

It's all familiar territory if you're know with the game. It doesn't look like there will be anything new added to the game other than the stereoscopic 3D, which you will just have to imagine until the game releases on March 27 2012.

Why did they not make Riven or Myst III for 3DS? Didn't they already do Myst on the original DS?

So, all the action takes place on the touch screen, which isn't 3D? Interesting choice.

Yay, finally!
Edit: most of it's on the bottom screen, no improvements not even to the framerate, why not the regular DS version.
Gonna wait for price drop or play the original.

But if all the action is going on in the 2D touchscreen, why should I buy this new port over the existing DS port of the game?

So, they kept the same textures also? Looked just like the original. They must just be converting it to 3D. Or just a low-res video. idk but didnt look exciting after watching it.

I'm waiting for Golden Sun 4 or main entry Pokemon game before I buy a 3DS. Until then, Nintendo, I love you, but, I won't be buying a 3DS.

Story time: the original myst for the pc was one of the first games that I bought. I can't remember how far I got, but I do know that I never did open the door to the tower because I couldn't find out how to get the little bridge thing to come up. I plan to get this game and beat myst for the first time.

Well that's BS, they are using the bottom screen for everything so the game isn't even in freaking 3D for the most part, pointless re release...

I wish that Cyan Worlds hadn't completely gone down the drain and was still making Myst games.... Those games were so effing good. Point and click adventure games that had more atmosphere and more magic than most AAA games made today.

Waiting for a review first, as the PSP and DS versions were rated crap... And why would they not put the action on the top, 3D screen???? It's called thinking, they should try it sometimes...I mean, it's called the 3DS after all...

Oh wow. Just wow I freaking LOVE Myst but this is a rehash of the DS version, which was okay and I played it, liked it and then said meh. This is that version except with crappy 3d effects. Im still waitin on MGS and hopefully a gta game on 3ds.
