The lights are on
Dragon Age 2 isn't set to release until next year in Japan, and in promotion of the game an animated prologue has been produced.
The film is called Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker and it's full of women flying through the air screaming with swords outstretched, involuntary limb removal and decapitations, lots of blood, and dragons. No word on whether it will ever get an English translation, especially considering the game released earlier this year, but the trailer is pretty cool.

I can't say I've ever seen Dragon Age from that perspective before.
I like the art style might check out some english subs of this anime
Digime, with a lot of constipated screaming and blood. Sounds like last Tuesday for me.
lol that was 300 the anime. This is being produced by Funimation isn't it? If that's the case, there will at least be an English sub on their website.
Poor, poor Dragon Age. What have they done to you! You used to be so cool.
Dragon Age went from my favorite promising franchise to an absolute waste
Looks good, hopefully they release it in English, I'll give it a shot.
Interesting. Yelling Japanese women sound so much different than yelling American women. I never noticed that before.
Honestly, I don't care about EA/Funimation making this. If this is what appeals to the Japanese market, let them make it. It's not like they're setting this as the standard art-style for DA3 or something.
Lol! I dig the comment someone made about the constipated screaming.
