Rush's 20 Minute Epic 2112 Coming To Rock Band
The 20-minute, seven part suite opening track from Rush's 1976 album, 2112, is coming to Rock Band.
According to Harmonox, “2112” will be offered as three separate playable packages: one combines “Overture” and “The Temple of Syrinx”; the second features “Discovery” and “Presentation”; and the final track brings “Oracle: The Dream,” “Soliloquy,” and “Grand Finale.”
PS3 and Xbox 360 gamers can purchase the three tracks separately, or purchase the song as the one gigantic 20 minute song. Players who purchase the pack combining it all get the Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades included for free.
"2112" will be available on on Xbox 360 on December 31, and PlayStation 3 and Wii January 3 with the following pricing:
- $5.49, 440 Microsoft Points, 550 Wii Points for the “Rush ‘2112’” pack (this includes the free Pro upgrades on 360 and PS3)
- $1.99, 160 Microsoft Points, 200 Wii Points per song
- $0.99, 80 Microsoft Points, 100 Wii Points per song for eligible Pro Guitar/Pro Bass upgrade
