The lights are on
The 20-minute, seven part suite opening track from Rush's 1976 album, 2112, is coming to Rock Band.
According to Harmonox, “2112” will be offered as three separate playable packages: one combines “Overture” and “The Temple of Syrinx”; the second features “Discovery” and “Presentation”; and the final track brings “Oracle: The Dream,” “Soliloquy,” and “Grand Finale.”
PS3 and Xbox 360 gamers can purchase the three tracks separately, or purchase the song as the one gigantic 20 minute song. Players who purchase the pack combining it all get the Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades included for free.
"2112" will be available on on Xbox 360 on December 31, and PlayStation 3 and Wii January 3 with the following pricing:

Nice, I have no intention of purchasing it, but I do love Rush so...Too Sweet!
...and rockband just became relevant again
Sweet snakes and arrows! All of it? Very much yes.
2112 should come to Rocksmith. Either way, it's great to see Rush getting love.
THE DRUM SOLO OF LIFEEEEEE
Would suck to get 18 minutes in and fail at the end.
If only my guitar controller wasn't broken...well, I dunno if I'd play it anyway, but this is still really cool. That one GH game where you gotta play these songs did an awesome job for the videos in the background and all that, it would be cool if they did something similar. But they probably won't.
Attention all planets of the solar federation.. We have assumed control.
Wow another reason to play Rock Band again! Rush is my favorite band and 2112 is amazing!
