The lights are on
Time to board the Tardis. BBC Worldwide just announced that its browser-based, free-to-play, multiplayer online game based on the Doctor Who license was available for preview play. Geronimo!
Developed in partnership with Three Rings – the online developer behind titles like Puzzle Pirates and Spiral Knights – Doctor Who: Worlds in Time allows fans of the popular BBC show the chance to explore the Doctor Whoniverse as an online multiplayer experience.
Starting today, players can choose from four races as they create their avatar, start exploring some of the inventive worlds seen in Doctor Who, and team up with friends to fend of the armies of the Daleks, Cybermen, and Weeping Angels. BBC Worldwide will release updates as they continue to develop the game over the coming months. Check the game out for yourself here. The price seems right.

Might be cool...
Long live dr. Who
I played it for a couple minutes and got bored... however the avatars look nice and I like the cartoon art style
Ehhhhhh......... I'll just wait for The Eternity Clock.
I'll check it out. I really hope it does the property justice. If not, that will just ruin it for me. You can't screw up my Dr. Who.
This gives the Whovians something to do while The Eternity Clock is being made.
this exists? why was I not informed?
Meh, as it stands right now, its a bunch of mini-games. Maybe it'll get more interesting with updates, but for now I'm passing.
Can't speak for Doctor Who fans, though, as I am not one. Does it do the series justice?
Three Rings? Are they Elven?
