Nintendo has just publicized its release schedule for the early part of 2012, and there aren't too many surprises.

An influx of third-party software hits the 3DS, while the Wii continues its fade out in preparation for the Wii U. Check out the official release calendar below (not including all upcoming titles for the platforms), and stay tuned for the summer lineup for Nintendo's systems.

Here are the highlights:

A 3d Tekken game sounds intriguing. I mean, the Street Fighter 3d game looked pretty good and was one of the few games I played on the system that didn't require me to turn off the 3d at some point.

at least 4 3DS titles im interested in, which is nice to see. could be some surprises later on.

as for the Wii, I honestly wasn't expecting anything past Zelda anyways, but im surprised they didnt include the april release of Xenoblade. that was definitely a pleasant surprise.
