Future Zeldas Are Sticking To Motion Controls
In an interview with Official Nintendo Magazine, Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma said that future Zelda games will use motion controls similar to Skyward Sword.
According to Aonuma, the idea of dropping motion controls was considered during the development of Skyward Sword, but clearly that was thrown out. Aonuma said, "I honestly think we cannot go back to button controls now, so I think that these controls will be used in future Zelda titles, too."
I loved Skyward Sword dearly, but I would have swapped motion controls for a traditional controller in a heartbeat. I don't think it would be very hard to go back to buttons at all. In fact, I could be mistaken, but I do believe there were quite a few buttons that were used in Skyward Sword. What do you think?
