The lights are on
The new franchise from the creators of Gears of War is something you wouldn't expect.
Fortnit's cartoony art style is reminiscent of other titles like Team Fortress 2. No details about the gameplay were explained, but it appears players will raid then later build a fortress structure to defend against hordes of zombie creatures.
No platforms or release date were revealed.
Hmm you know Epic is my second fav developers so i have faith this will be cool.
Is it just me or does this seem a little too heavily Minecraft influenced?
I hate how every game with style is automatically equated to Team Fortress 2 by the media. Eff you guys - stop pretending that it all looks the same to you. It's okay; you can admit that there's more than one way to do cartoony visuals.
Zombies, as an idea, suck. So it's hard to get excited for this. But it also has a sort of Medieval/Maximo vibe to its creatures so....maybe there's hope.
Wonder which Epic studio is doing this? People Can Fly? Chair? Or Epic proper?
Looks...interesting. I'm totally digging the art style, but I just hope it isn't a glorified horde mode.
I have a feeling that this game will be awesome.
I will definitely be checking on this one.
Oh goody, what looks like a MineCraft clone (IMO). How exciting.
I like the art style, but I'm not big on tower defense type games if that is what this is.
when they discribed it before the trailer i thought they were talking about minecraft so hoping it'll be similar but better it its own way hopefully we'll have more info on what kinda game it is soon
A whole game of horde mode but with creating a fortress? sounds pretty awesome. I'm also a little glad Epic is letting People Can Fly make the next Gears of War. If they add in some of the stuff from Bulletstorm it would keep the series from getting boring
This seems like a tower defense game I would actually play.
It looks very Tower Defensey...Weird choice for Epic...
Xbox Live. I am dissapoint. Really disappointing. I was hoping for something like Samaritan. If it's retail it'd be better, but...
minecraft? but night all the time... ok.
minecraftish tower defense? that could be good!
It's probably gonna be good. Epic always makes great games.
How the holy christ did Epic end up here? Going from GoW to a cartoony tower-defense with zombies? It's almost like the polar opposite of GoW: cartoony graphics, what looks like some sort of defense-based gameplay, and an utter lack of that rough, grittiness signature to the developer. Epic's the last developer I'd expect making an IP like this. Interested, just a bit confused...
