The lights are on
Word on the street is that the follow up to Dead Rising 2 will be set in California, star a mechanic, and involve escaping the doomed city on a cobbled-together plane. The auto mechanic’s name is Rick, and it sounds like he’s a little less confident in his zombie-slaying abilities right off the bat compared to Chuck and Frank. The city of Los Perdidos, California is set to be cleared out by a huge bomb, and Rick plans to escape on a plane. Featuring a goal that sounds similar to Dead Rising 2: Case 0’s motorcycle building, Rick must gather pieces to build a plane.Siliconera also reports that Dead Rising 3 will touch on themes of illegal immigration. A leader named Red leads a band of infected illegals through the chaos-stricken city. Red’s girlfriend Annie, a defender of the infected folk, will also play a role in the story. The only other character speculated to be in the game is a psychopathic biker who drives a motorcycle customized with steam roller parts. Sounds pretty nasty.Capcom isn’t commenting on the rumors just yet, so sit tight for now. Are you ready for more Dead Rising?
The above concept art of Rick is rumored to be official, but the Dead Rising 2 logo was altered by Game Informer

I love killing zombies. Can't get enough of it, ever. I would love another Dead Rising game.
Oh, this sounds like a good story/game! :)
this information is useless, this is a fake rumor.
The game looks good though capcom has to work on the timer clock it makes the game feel short
... and then they'll make a 2nd "what if" version with Frank West. The premise will be, "What if Frank West was there & not the mechanic?"
Never played Dead Rising. Wonder if it is good.
That sounds really dumb.
I hope this rumor sheds some truth. I love the Dead Rising franchise. This sounds like something right up my alley.
never played any of the first two ill maybe take a look at this one.
For me the pic of the guy looked liked Ash!!!!
Might be awesome!
Building a plane to escape from zombies sounds awesome! Tho to be honest zombie games are getting rather stale at this point, just hope they can think of something different.
I stil need to play 2.
one question, where is frank and chuck
If they take out the timer and the annoying saves that the first one had, I never played 2 or any of the dlc, But if they do that, then im down for this zombie kill train.
I hope dr3 is more open world like games such as fallout and skyrim. The chance to explore the entire city rather than being confined to a small part of it could be really good.
