The lights are on
Compared to most games, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has a lot of options for keeping your attention outside of combat. However, if you start digging in, chances are you'll be slaying wild beasts and fellow humanoids left and right. Unless you're Felix, the peaceful monk.
Felix is a pacifist monk who uses illusion spells and a fear-inducing mace to keep from seriously harming any foes. He's played by YouTube user WestSideLuigi, and so far he's made it nine levels deep into Skyrim without killing anything. Not a single animal, person, dragon, or even undead.
It's a pretty incredible feat of playing a game in an unintended way -- sort of like the guy who hit the level cap in World of Warcraft without killing anything. Watch the YouTube video below to get some Skyrim pacifism tips and see for yourself how Felix handles some scary situations.
This guy has more patience than i will ever have...
This is actually really interesting. It makes me think of RPGs in a way I should have been the whole time, but haven't. When I play Elder Scrolls, I love to adventure around and do EVERYTHING I can. But, this guy won't do everything because of the personality he's put into his character, which is pretty awesome.
Yea, I don't even have it and I hoping I get it for X-mas and I agree with you Stranger Jumpman. Also, how will the 3rd person view gonna work?
i have only one question... how do you deal with dragons?
that is awesome id never be able to do it but thats awesome
To be fair, this gamer has yet to beat the game. But his method actually looks like it may work. I haven't played the game myself, so I wouldn't know if you could avoid killing whatever final boss there may be.
Looks to hard to try out for me. Killing Dragons is to much fun to pass away.
Way to go. Very cool.
That's pretty cool but what about all the missed missions, or even beating the game???
Interesting approach. Wouldn't be able to get past the first Dragon in the main quest, so couldn't have any shouts, and of course couldn't complete the game. Might try it just for sheer entertainment value some time. :)
Wow. but how is that any fun?
But I'd rather Fus Ro Dah people off cliffs... to each man there own, I guess
NO WAY! Unbelievable...
I can't see how that'd be any fun.... but w/e
That's really cool but not for me. I enjoy taking out the day's frustrations on mythical creatures. : )
He's like the batman of skyrim. Except he's a catman.
not joking here i did play like this and lost hours of content from death by what else. arrow to the knee
