The lights are on
Compared to most games, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has a lot of options for keeping your attention outside of combat. However, if you start digging in, chances are you'll be slaying wild beasts and fellow humanoids left and right. Unless you're Felix, the peaceful monk.
Felix is a pacifist monk who uses illusion spells and a fear-inducing mace to keep from seriously harming any foes. He's played by YouTube user WestSideLuigi, and so far he's made it nine levels deep into Skyrim without killing anything. Not a single animal, person, dragon, or even undead.
It's a pretty incredible feat of playing a game in an unintended way -- sort of like the guy who hit the level cap in World of Warcraft without killing anything. Watch the YouTube video below to get some Skyrim pacifism tips and see for yourself how Felix handles some scary situations.
Cooool but I still like beating the crap out of people
I think it's pretty cool to do this and dare anyone else to try it, not me though, I love clobbering things (at least in games).
I take my hat off to this person for finding a new fun way to play this HUGE game!
I wonder how he handles dragons? Don't you need to kill a few?
Id imagine at some point he'd be using "invisibility" to get around easily. I think at that point the game might get pretty boring for him but I dunno.
This is really cool, but slaying dragons is the best part. And how is he going to get dragon souls if he doesn't slay dragons?
I used to be a pacifist, but then I took an arrow to the knee....
this just proves again how much of a dynamic game skyrim can be. You can play however you like and the story will always play itself out.
That is quite an accomplishment
wow this should be like a Diamond trophy
to bad he cant beat the game with out killing 1 thing :/
This looks like a cool thing to try out. Maybe.
I would much rather hack n slash
lol pu$$y khajiit and monk! :D
Nicely done by him to get to lvl 9 like that, however I prefer to kill stuff :p
I wish I had the patience to try to do that.
