Gore Verbinski Creating Xbox 360 Games
A new deal between Microsoft and the film director's company, Blind Wink, means we'll be seeing new games as early as late 2012.
The first project on the horizon is an unnamed Xbox Live Arcade game for Kinect, but the deal extends out to include other projects that may or may not appear on the 360. Under the terms of the deal, Microsoft will act as distributor for those future projects. No matter the nature of those games, Verbinski aims to apply cinematic sensibilities to their production.
Blind Wink's first major project was the animated film, Rango.
