Rumor: Multiplayer For Dragon Age Franchise
With BioWare's Mass Effect 3 introducing multiplayer to that RPG series, perhaps it's only fitting that another BioWare franchise – Dragon Age – might be getting multiplayer as well.
Kotaku has a rumor that different multiplayer modes (including PvP and PvE) are being worked on, but it's unknown if this multiplayer component will be added to the series via a downloadable game/DLC or simply be included into Dragon Age III. The combat will apparently be based in an arena, and players will be able to fight against dragons as well as fight in dragon form themselves.
The mode is being built using Battlefield 3's Frostbite engine, so you know it's going to look good.
