Ezio's Costume Popping Up In Final Fantasy XIII-2

Those assassins sure get around, or at least their clothes do. Altaïr lent his Assassin's Creed wardrobe to games including Metal Gear Solid 4 and LittleBigPlanet, and Ezio is following suit. In addition to showing up as a playable character in Namco's upcoming Soulcalibur V, Ezio is letting players outfit a character from Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIII-2 in his familiar garb.

Noel Kreiss, one of Final Fantasy XIII-2's main characters, will be able to experience the wardrobe change via DLC. There's no word on when it'll be available or if players will have to fork over cash for the privilege. In the meantime, you can check out Ezio's original costume (above left) and the version that Noel will be sporting.

Any predictions on where this suit will be popping up next? Madden NFL 13?

  • lol. also, first
  • Great, the AC: Brotherhood and Metal Gear cross-over content was pretty good, now lets just wait and see how many overly opinionated blowhards complain.
  • "...and Ezio is following suit." I see what you did there, Jeff. Clothes humour. Har har har.
  • I want to see a Dead Space outfit in FF.
  • I want to see kratos in it

  • normal day at ubisoft
so uh what do yah think we should do with the franchise boss
cameos [sweeps hand sideways] cameos every were

    ps. this is awesome.
  • Thats great and all but...wheres KH3 Square? We Want answers!!!
  • I'm not trying to be a complainer, but what exactly is the point of this? Actually, I should say why did they pick Altair's outfit as one you could select from?

Still, it's pretty cool I guess.
  • Interesting. I just hope it goes with the free download. Because there is no way I would pay money for it. Unless it's bundled in with some other stuff.
  • It...kinda seems like they are just trying to make money off of Ezio's popularity. I mean its cool and all but the SC cameo made sense but this is just ridiculous.

I mean it would make sense if we could be able to use the pieces of eden as a weapon or something but I doubt it because video game developers rarely think up cool and obvious stuff like that.(espescially ubisoft and square)
  • btw Dante from Devil May Cry would be great, OR BETTER YET VERGIL! OOH MAYBE RAIDEN! those guys would be great in FF.
  • This is pointless and makes my respect for SquareEnix go down even more. Cool that they can work with Ubisoft to allow it, crappy because they never would have needed to in the past knowing their own ideas for game content should be enough to sell it.
  • its funny that all of those are for the ps3 and assasins creed started as an xbox exclusive
  • Even with my outfit he doesn't anywhere near as cool as me.
  • I liked the Metal Gear content but Final Fantasy? C'mon.

  • We Assassins are taking over the world!

  • cool I guess, Assassins Creed wasn't really my style of game, but I like this over his original character design...

  • Thats pertty kool i like that assassins creed is becomeing mor popular in other games such as MGS4 and of cours FF13-2.i like the way the cloths look, wonder how much itl be in the game or what you half to do to unlock it?
  • They could do a better job on his face
  • I'll be happy with just the game. Thank you.

Not really into all this playing dress up crap from other games.
