Chrono Trigger Coming To iPhone

Square Enix confirmed today the release of Chrono Trigger for the iPhone and iPod Touch devices next month.

Pricing details haven't been revealed at this time, but Square sent over a few screenshots of the game with its updated touch control interface.

Chrono Trigger will be available in Japanese, English, French, Spanish, German, Italian and Chinese.

why does iOS get all the good software? i stand behind droid 100% but iOS gets it all. *** apple's good marketing lol. a company that can sell a $15 dollar product manufactured by a blind 6 year old chinese kid for $2300 can't be competed with i guess.

i would like to see an updated version of this game made in 3d but with the same maybe full orchestrated music, intergrated cut scenes, but the same battle system and menus. I really dont want a third installment. i never liked chrono cross. Chrono trigger was an epic game with well fleshed out endings(14 of them). meh. if they ever did a third....as long as they dont go down the route FF did....what is it with all the feathers all over the place?? FF for me died with FF8...FF6(3 on SNES) was the best even now.

This better sell well enough to finally justify making a third Chrono game. This game is on so many platforms now: SNES, PS1, PSN, Wii Virtual Console, this, etc. Its so awesome, it really deserves a sequel. (Not enough sales is still Square's official reason why they haven't made a third Chrono game, as far as I know.)
