The lights are on
A group of LEGO master builders are assembling a 12-foot version of the legendary Jedi, and you may be able to help.
The statue is being built in Union Square, and the public is welcome to assist. The three-day event is scheduled to end on Sunday, November 20, so it's already been going on for a while. The goal is to create a larger version of the model (pictured above), with the help of many adults and children who want to participate.Apparently, the group is making good progress, so if you live in the area and you're interested in helping, you should get out there first thing tomorrow. Once Yoda's been built, they're not going to disassemble him just so more people can help. (Source: GeekDad)
