PS3 Saints Row: The Third Owners Get Saints Row 2 For Free
Yesterday we reported that THQ had apparently forgotten about its promise of exclusive Saints Row: The Third content to PS3 owners. Today THQ has responded, and although they aren't providing the extra mode that was originally promised, they are giving a pretty cool bonus.
THQ says that anyone who owns a PS3 copy of Saints Row: The Third and redeems their online pass for it within the next 90 days (that's until February 13, 2012, for those keeping track) will receive a free digital copy of Saints Row 2. The digital version of Volition's previous open-world gangster game will be available for download some time next week.
This offer is only valid for gamers in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, so if you're a Saints fan reading this from across an ocean, I apologize.
