Wii U May Support Multiple Tablets
Nintendo has openly stated that the Wii U will only be able to support one tablet controller, but a new report says that the console should be able to support up to two.
Apparently, there are (or perhaps were) technical limitations preventing multiple tablets to be used, but Nintendo is nearing a solution that will allow at least two tablets to be used at once, a source told Develop. The source added that two is very likely the maximum number of multiple tablets the Wii U will ever be able to support.
The current Wii remotes will be compatible with the Wii U, which is how it seems multiplayer will typically be handled regardless of how many tablets the Wii U ultimately supports. The big question now is, how much will an additional Wii U tablet cost?
