Saints Row 4 Already In Development

Danny Bilson, SVP of core games at THQ, recently confirmed the existence of Saints Row 4, despite Saints Row: The Third still being a full week from release. During an interview on G4's X-Play Bilson said, "I already know what Saint's Row 4 is about, and it is wilder than this one. It's a good example of how you take what you have and you say, 'What can happen in the next?'"

That's quite a bold statement from Bilson, considering just how absurd all the media from Saints Row: The Third has been. We had the game on our cover a few months ago, and you can find all of our extensive coverage of it by clicking here.

Saints Row: The Third releases for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on November 15.

I get nervous when people announce the next games before the release of the new one. Hope they take the time and get each game right.Just because they're competing with GTA doesn't mean they have to catch up to it in number

take your time.... let this one come out so you can figure out what people like and what needs to be changed to make it better... i hate how they shove out games every year lately, take 2-3 years, make it great. still excited for SR3 though

Tbh, I can't see how much they'll be able to do with Saints 4 after seeing how insane Saints Row 3 is going to be. Hopefully it doesn't turn into a Tony Hawk/Madden/COD franchise that gets re-released every year.

Hopefully this doesn't mean that Saints Row 3 will get little to no support. There aren't many big budget, wacky games out there and I would love to see this one get some DLC support to keep me playing well into next year.

I am assuming they mean that they are brain-storming ideas, not actually already developing the game, they will still need to make DLCs and junk.

Haha cool. Just one more week til I get my saints fix... then another few years :(. But I'm sure this and skyrim (which may make me forget about life lo) will help the wait.
