Here is the first image of Bioware's new, unannounced project, set for reveal at the Video Game Awards show next month.

The image reveals a fantastic-looking collision in a desert setting. Like what you see? Click below for an expanded view. We'll be posting the first screenshot of the next Alan Wake game later this afternoon.

The Video Game Awards show airs on Saturday, December 10 on Spike TV, MTV2 and Spike.com at 8:00 p.m. EST.

Like last year's January cover was Skyrim, BioWare's newest unveiled project will be next January's issue. I know this is the case, GI. :)

Also, this means that this would have to come out by the end of next year, which also means that next-gen consoles are to be unveiled at E3 and slated for next year's holiday release (because it says on BioWare's site that they're working on an unannounced next-gen title, which is this)! That one clue answers it all!

I really like the style of RPG's Bioware makes but I love the Fantasy and Space theme's. I'm not sure I want to be in the desert again after the Fallout games. As long as they have a big world with lots of exploration and great action with heavy RPG elements the setting isn't so important.

it could be a shattered steel reboot. It cold be an attempt at a car mechanic rpg. It could be a lot of things. I'm sure gameinformer will tell us soon.

Looks a bit like Death Race, or that one Jak and Daxter racing/shooting game. If not that, then a post-apocolyptic setting like RAGE. Just have to wait and see.

I love Bioware. I would love to see another RPG, but I can handle them going the action-adventure or cover-based 3rd-person shooter route. As long as it's not a *** FPS.

The guy kindof looks like he's dressed like a soccer player. Not entirely sure whats going but I'll be very curious to see what this turns out to be; I like Bioware for the most part(DA2 sucks).
