Happen to nab an early copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3? You might want to think about selling it.
A recently ended eBay listing for an alleged early copy netted the seller $1,725, just four days before the game is released in stores.
Those with early copies thinking about signing onto Xbox Live may want to reconsider, however. Xbox Live's Director of Policy Stephen Toulouse noted on Twitter that playing early copies of Modern Warfare 3 online may get you banned temporarily from Activision.

So he got it on the third at 6 at night. shipping is 3-4 business days. So it should get there either Tuesday or Wednesday, when the game is already out. Idiot

That is, for lack of a better word, simply stupid. The game releases in four days, and you can't even play online now without being banned. I'd honestly like to know who paid thousands for an early copy so I could spam his or her inbox with facepalm photos.

I'm so gonna buy that game for $1800. Then when I recieve it about a week after the official release, I will laugh in the face of all you puny mortals buying it for $60.

That is completely redonculous! I would much rather wait four more days than dish out that much money. I'm a little surprised how high this number got. Hope they get expedited shipping for another 30 bucks so they don't get it on the release date anyway.
I dont think people realize that celebrities are huge gamers too. Wouldnt be surprised if someone like Snoop bought it. $1,700 to him is like $17 to anybody else. But it's funny to see the 99% flame over something that probably a 1% purchased. Lol.

Wow...talk about giving up on the human race on seeing this. Just full of fail of fails. One who has that much money to throw around these days? Last I checked the world economy is pretty much dead. Look at Greece they are almost about to go into the Dark Ages.
To spend almost 2K on a single game JUST BECAUSE IT WAS AN EARLY RELEASE is stupid. Also slightly illegal by the Policy of the gaming company has placed. And lawsuit may follow. Phoenix Wright will be knocking.
