Could the sequel to Dead Island have a name?

Poland-based developer Techland recently registered a trademark for "Dead World" in the U.S., suggesting a sequel is on the way. A spokesperson for the developer declined to comment on the trademark filing.

Techland has yet to officially announce a sequel, but given the commercial success of Dead Island, a second game should come as no surprise. To date, Dead Island has shipped over two million copies worldwide.
