Get Jurassic Park: The Game Free With One-Year PlayStation Plus Subscription

If you're a hardcore PS3 owner who's also curious about Telltale's upcoming Jurassic Park game, Sony has a great deal for you.

The PlayStation Blog reports that anyone who purchases a one-year PlayStation Plus subscription between today and November 8 will receive a free download of Jurassic Park: The Game when it releases on November 15.

On its own, Jurassic Park: The Game will cost a total of $29.99, whereas a year of PlayStation Plus will set you back $49.99. However, in addition to the game you'll get 12 months of nice bonuses such as free downloadable games and PlayStation Classics, exclusive discounts, early access to PS3 betas, and more.

Anyone going to take this opportunity to jump on the PlayStation Plus bandwagon?

  • That sounds like a great deal. I don't have a PS3, but if I did, I would roll with PSN +.
  • No thanks Telltale. No matter how awesome Jurassic Park is, I already pay $60 a years for Xbox Live. I'll stick with free PSN for now.
  • -____- what about the people who already own PSPlus?
  • I'll pass. But I have wanted to Replay FFX for a long time. Is that considered a classic
  • I Hardly get online on my ps3 So wats to point to subscribe for one year but for the ones who do, Ya that sounds pretty good

  • after nov. 8th jurassic park will drop in price from 29.99 to free, then to extinction, act now and we will throw in an 8 track player and parachute pants
  • Thats rad.
  • I'm seriously considering this. I loved the BTTF game and am planning on getting this too. It seems like a good deal

  • Nope, I just don't want to pay anything for online. And I'm not sure if I would even get around to a Jurassic Park game amid such releases as Uncharted 3 and Skyrim. Just don't see it happening.
  • Plus has totally been worth it to me. I hated paying for XBL just to play online. At least for 50 bucks, I've gotten loads of content on PS3, it's totally payed for itself. To each their own but plus has had loads of value for me.
  • So can you tell us when the review is coming? I am really interested in this game.
  • NO!!! This could not come at a worse time. I did enjoy getting Sam and Max for free when I originally signed up though... Sigh... Looks like I'll be broke for another week.

  • is it that good or that bad?
  • That's actually really cool. I mean, if you're set on having Ps Plus for a year, it's basically a free Dinosaur Sim, And I'm betting it must be pretty fun. I mean, come on. DINOSAURS!

  • This feels alot like dejavu...I could have sworn i saw this somewhere else...O wait i did /facepalm Nice try though.
  • LOLNO.

I love free games but I'm not falling for this, Sony. Good try, though.maybe next time. I'm not entirely certain i want this game.so why would i pay for a years service on something I'm not 100% about,Sony.?

  • This is shite. I recently re-upped my PS+ subscriptions, and had they given more notice I would have waited for this deal. Plus the fact that PS+ is supposed to give us perks, but this completely overlooks the loyalty of long time PS+ subscribers in favor of trying to squeeze an extra $50 out of us early. Anyone subscribed for a year at the time this was announced should be included as well, but they aren't. QQ
  • Aaaaaaand this is why i want a PS3...silly xbox being so stingy.

  • I have had PS+ for about 4 months now and it has already paid for itself easily with half price on RE4 and CVX, free access to 3 PSX RE and Crash games, along with classic Genesis games AND goodies like Costume Quest and Plants v. Zombies...basically, more stuff than I can come close to playing, quality, and free or cheap. Actually beats the crap out of what Gold has given me lately but I have to have 360 for Gears...
  • Red flag goes up. game quality goes down. don't expect too much from this one guys.
