[Update]: Free Pinball FX 2 Table Now Available
[Update]: Need a break from cleaning up Arkham City and storming Battlefield 3's...battlefields? The Halloween-themed table for Pinball FX 2 is now available for download.
[Original Story]: Pinball FX 2 fans are sure to get at least one treat this Halloween, as Zen Studios has announced that players can download its upcoming Paranormal table free for a limited time.
From October 26 to November 2, Xbox 360 owners can download the macabre table for free. If you don't own Pinball FX 2, don't worry: the Pinball FX 2 platform is available as a free download as well. Paranormal will cost the standard 240 MS Points starting November 3, but if you downloaded it for free, you will retain full access to the table forever. The official press release explains the giveaway.
“In celebration of one year of Pinball FX2, and as a big THANK YOU to all of our supporters, we are happy to offer the new Paranormal table free for one week!” said Mel Kirk, Zen Studios vice president of marketing and public relations. “For players who have not yet joined the Pinball FX2 community, this is the perfect time to come and experience the game.”
The new table puts players in the role of a paranormal detective, investigating all kinds of weird and spooky creatures. Paranormal also has a miniature playing field with four mini games, and a whopping 10 flippers. The trailer, which you can see below, makes it look pretty insane:
It's no secret that many of us at GI are big Pinball FX 2 fans, so hopefully the free table can introduce more gamers to its wildly addictive gameplay.
