Well I already have 1943. So I personally would rather have the DLC first.

Early DLC, bf1943 was fun but who is really going to play it that doesn't already have it, especially since they already have a bf3...

I want both because that's what Sony, EA and DICE said we were getting. The thing that bothers me most is that they just decided not to include 1943 and didn't say anything about it, like we were just going to forget what they said. I didn't forget and I'm disappointed.

So, they announce this after the game's release? I would be upset if I had bought the game for PS3. Not exactly good for the image when you promise something and only recind that promise after your product releases.

I'd rather have BF3 on PC.

it all depends on how early the access is for the DLC, if its like a month like CoD was for xbox users then yeah ill take it, but if it was like 2 weeks like the article said (when they first announced it) then thats kinda cheapness sorta..

I was wondering about this, but oh well, BF3 is awesome enough. They delivered and I'm happy with the product. Even Team Deathmatch surprised me with how fun it is, yet still has the BF quality behind it.

sony is good for exclusives and this is another one of them...enjoy!!!

I think this is bull, sure we ps3 peeps get the dlc first, but its not like xbox, we get one week and they get one month or sometimes even more.

I never got battlefield 1943, dont know why, but was thinking it would be a fun add to a bf3, its a cheap game so its not a deal breaker, but i just feel that its way to late to say it, and as you said in the post, the ps3 getting early dlc was allready announced.

@M3o5nster I agree, I'm really happy with the console version of BF3, and BF193 isn't even relevant anymore. I also doubt people would go back to playing that instead of 1943 anyways. And TDM is awesome. I had my doubts too, but that game mode is actually pretty good.

Battlefield 1943

I admit it, this is funny to me. Mostly just because I said it wasn't a good enough reason to buy for one platform over another- sure enough people that were crowing about it before, are eating that crow now- or saying "it doesn't matter, I already have that stuff anyway!" Exactly.
- Also, as far as EA/DICE is concerned, obviously that's a botch job on their part- and for what? Again, for content most people who care already own (it's been on PC for ages, on XBLA/PSN since before BC2).

Since I don't care about the campaign -all that much, the only consideration for me is which platform my friends will be playing on. I guess the map packs thing could miff some people, but again my priority is playing with friends.
