The lights are on
Rockstar Games said today the L.A. Noire: Complete Edition is coming to consoles next month.
Already announced for PC, the Complete Edition includes the game and all previously released downloadable content, outfits, and weapons so far: "Nicholson Electroplating" Arson case, "Reefer Madness" Vice case, "The Consul's Car" Traffic case, "The Naked City" Vice case , "A Slip of the Tongue" Traffic case, and The Badge Pursuit Challenge.
The Complete Edition will release on November 15, 2011 in North America and November 18, 2011 internationally. The PC version hits November 8.
Well, I already got all the DLC and traded it in, so I'm good. Still, a good deal for anyone who's interested.
Very glad I haven't gotten the game yet, because I know if I had i would have to get this too.
I see they are not putting in the original removed content (bunko/fraud & burglary/robbery) This is upsetting since they were purportedly removed because of size issues. (I blame Microsoft personally for being too stupid to embrace blu-ray)
I personally give a big 2 middle fingers up for all this BS I've noticed of late. First I saw you would not receive a playable character or said characters content for Dragon Age Origins (Shale), unless purchased new. Then it was this L.A. Noire - obviously having all this extra content that COULD have been put on the G**D*** disk in the first place! I mean they CUT HUGE AMOUNTS out of the game, then want you to pay extra.
That's F***ing retarded. (Just my opinion here)
Now there's this Batman A.C. only get Catwoman + extra content if you buy new deal. Get lost. I seriously want to just go steal a new copy. I probably would if it actually came out of Warner Bros. pocket (who I personally suspect would be behind such a b*tch move as this) and not Fred Meyer's.
I am sad to see so many people excited for this "DEAL". I think I will go back to playing the excellent Witcher 2, which recently released a whole SLEW of DLC - FOR FREE!!! Thank You CD Projeckt for not being greedy corporate A**Holes!
Sincerely, A Concerned, Slightly Profane Gamer.
I've been waiting for this since the game was announced.... Excellent.
Glad I waited. Rockstar seems to do this with all their big ticket games now.
I'd love to get this, if it weren't for the fact that I already have it. Bugger. Oh well, I may trade in my copy of it and get it again haha.
I might check out the PC version of this, just to see how it'll look on my machine. L.A. Noire was a solid title. It had some gameplay issues, and I think the narrative got a little disjointed and clumsy toward the end. But I still really enjoyed it.
I might actually keep it this time.
