The lights are on
You probably know legendary game designer Richard Garriott best by his Ultima series in-game moniker of Lord British, but if you'd like to know him better in real life, here's an opportunity you can't miss.
KUT News reports that Garriott is selling the "captivating and magical estate" known as Britannia Manor II. The nearly 6,000-square foot home in Austin, Texas, has three bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a meager $4.1 million asking price. Oh, and there's a built-in observatory with a telescope on the top floor. So that's something.
Kind of makes my tiny, two-bedroom apartment feel boring. Anyone interested in giving the man behind the Ultima games a few million in exchange for an absurdly extravagant place to live?
Sounds like my house -_-
Also, you have to view the house top down the entire time, and can only walk in the main four compass directions and you'll be followed by an elderly fellow named Iolo the entire time who will insist on calling you The Avatar.
Oh, and Richard is invincible unless you have The Black Sword.
