The lights are on
You probably know legendary game designer Richard Garriott best by his Ultima series in-game moniker of Lord British, but if you'd like to know him better in real life, here's an opportunity you can't miss.
KUT News reports that Garriott is selling the "captivating and magical estate" known as Britannia Manor II. The nearly 6,000-square foot home in Austin, Texas, has three bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a meager $4.1 million asking price. Oh, and there's a built-in observatory with a telescope on the top floor. So that's something.
Kind of makes my tiny, two-bedroom apartment feel boring. Anyone interested in giving the man behind the Ultima games a few million in exchange for an absurdly extravagant place to live?

I'll take it!
Yeeeeeeesssss, I shall immediately wire the money from my secret bank account. This will make a wonderful winter home, my summer home is a secret lab in Europe I got it cheap, and what a view! I acquired it from a fellow with a rather disturbing face... *shudders*
Only $4.1 million? That's a deal!
I'm trying so hard to think of something witty to say, but nothing comes to mind. I fail.
Yeah cool. Any millionaires out there? My family's starving.
6,000-sq ft home for 4.1 million? Oh, pish posh!! I'm sure all of GIO members don't have that kind of dough.
I would rather give him $4.1 million to make a new Ultima game.
Ya man thats the house for me.
Then I would have a place to stay for the Grand Prix of the US next year. Woohoo!!
Wow..Ultima 7..memories.
I could use a telescope
4.1 million? Hmmmm...... 3.9 is my final offer. Take it or leave it :p
5 bathrooms 3 bedrooms? Heaven is calling my friends.
guy must be broke
