Halo Waypoint Getting ATLAS Map Tracker

by Matthew Kato on Oct 17, 2011 at 04:53 AM

343 Industries is planning a fall update for Halo Waypoint, its stats, news, etc. Halo hub. Fans will be getting some pretty cool features, including the ability to get a leg up during multiplayer battles.

GameSpot has a report on the upcoming features from New York Comic-Con, and they include an interface redesign, new stats, and custom player-to-player challenges.

Furthermore, one of the new Waypoint features is a Windows 7 phone app called ATLAS. This gives you a top-down view of multiplayer maps (except on player-created maps), in real-time for Halo: Reach and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. This lets you see where weapons drops are, your allies, floorplans, and other data.

Sound useful enough to use?
