The lights are on
Sega has confirmed reports from earlier this month that it's bringing the classic racer Daytona USA to Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
This port includes enhanced graphics with 16:9 widescreen support, steering wheel support, and online multiplayer with up to eight players. The game's original soundtrack has also been preserved and now includes a Karaoke Mode.
Daytona USA is available in North America on October 25 for Xbox Live Arcade and October 26 on PlayStation Network. Those in Europe will have to wait until "late November." The game costs 800 Microsoft Points or $9.99.

Cool. I'll buy this game at some point.
"Enhanced graphics"? I wonder if this is a straight port with "HD Smoothing" going on, or if Sumo Digital just made a new digital game for e-tailers? Like their Outrun Arcade and Sega Rally Arcade versions?
Either way, it should be cool!
