Batman: Arkham City 'Nightwing' DLC Dated

The first downloadable content pack for Batman: Arkham City will hit on November 1, Warner Bros. announced today.

The content includes Nightwing, who has his own arsenal of special gadgets and moves, in addition to two challenge maps: Wayne Manor and Main Hall. Nightwing will be playable in the game's challenge maps. A version of Nightwing from the animated series will also be included.

The publisher also announced the Robin Bundle, which was previously only available through pre-order, will arrive on November 22 for all owners of the game. Both content packs will retail for 560 Microsoft Points or $6.99 on PlayStation Network.

  • sweet!!!! really can't wait for this game... next unlockable character: Alfred!
  • While I like all the extras, I think they are going a bit DLC-crazy. I'm already getting the collector's edition of the game. By the time everything is said and done, I'll probably have spend around $150 if they keep churning out challenge map characters.
  • Nightwing > Red Robin > Robin
  • !!!!!!!!!!
  • Oh this game can not come soon enough!

  • I'm expecting Rocksteady to announce that the next playable character is...YOU. For $4.99 you send them a headshot and they'll put your face under the Batman or Robin Mask. Actually that would be kind of cool.
  • I want a Nightwing game...
  • Man this is cool but I wish all this stuff was included in the game already I don't like having to pay extra for it but oh well I guess it'll be worth it.

  • Kinda like Nightwing. Know nothing about him but he looks cool.
  • Glad to hear it.

  • i might have to buy the GOTY Edition for all of these stuff. Somebody gives it a GOTY already! LOL

  • As much as I want to play this game, with all the DLCs, Skins, Pre-order Bonuses etc, I think I'm gonna wait for the GOTY edition.

  • Capital E on "excerpt".

  • I really really like this art style

  • Wait... can he glide? It doesn't look like he has any way to glide. Does he, like, flap his arms really fast or something? Because that would be awesome.

Edit: Also, WHERE IS YOUR RUTTING REVIEW, GIO?!
  • Why weren't these included in the game? I can't help feel that I am being exploited.
  • Im usually not crazy about DLC...but I have to have this...
  • I'll get this as soon as it comes out. Nightwing is awesome!

  • I think i'm most excited about playing... Batman, in this game. I don't need 20 different skins for Batman to enjoy the game. I don't ever want to play any game as Robin, or as Nightwing who is just the old Robin, I don't need Batman dressed up as any colored Lantern corps. I hate when companies find the most ridiculous ways to make a couple extra bucks on useless DLC.
  • Does anyone else think he looks a bit...Twilighty? Just me? Oh well. Batman Arkham City is still going to be amazing.
