The lights are on
In a recent interview, DICE producer Patrick Liu discussed the possibility of a sequel to the free running game. In the full interview over at Spong, Liu was asked if gamers would be receptive to another entry in the series. "Yeah, definitely. I think it’s something that people are ready to get into again." Liu goes on to express his belief that the game has developed a cult following, and that if the team were to build a new game, they'd know how to fix what was broken or disliked about the original. There's been growing buzz in the gaming world about the likelihood of Mirror's Edge 2. Earlier this year, EA Games President Frank Gibeau spoke about the possibility of a sequel. Later in the year, rumors abounded that Mirror's Edge 2 was in production using the Frostbite 2 engine. Our two cents? We would be totally stoked to play another game in the Mirror's Edge universe.

Yea! DICE still cares about this. Mirror's Edge was a great game, I'd love to have a sequel.
I really like that first Mirror's Edge. Faith is probably one of my favorite female characters. Right up there with Samus and Laura Croft. It would be nice to see her back in action, jumping off buildings, punching mall cops in the face and running away...ahhh...good times..
I would love a sequel to Mirror's Edge. ESPECIALLY if it used the Frostbite 2 Engine!
Mirror's Edge is absolutely one of my favorite new IP's of this console generation. I think a sequel would be great, I hope they make the game longer, though. The first one was a tad bit short.

Great news that they are looking into it, easily one of my favorite games right now I think I have played through the game about 10 times and still can't get enough. Best part about the game for me is making a perfect run without losing that sense of speed and nailing those disarms.
I only played the demo of the first one, but man I would definitely buy this!
Goshdarnit! Every news story about this game is always just "Yeah, well... we're still thinking about doing it, so don't worry guys. You can always enjoy the anticipation!" Jeez. This is like Half-Life 3 Jr. ...
I'm game for playing a sequel. I loved how different it was from all the other games.
I fully expect them to release the sequel to this next year, so they can release a game and stay true to their word of not releasing a BF game every year.
It would be great for a sequel, but one thing they should do is make a sequel on unresolved plot points in the first one. For example, what happened to Celeste after Faith found her at the docks? Was Lt. Miller killed or managed to escape? I can't wait to find out.
