Behold: The Life-Sized, Rubber-Band Shooting LEGO Lancer

LEGO fans never cease to amaze me, and this is why. Someone has managed to make a life-sized Lancer assault rifle from Gears of War from the little toy bricks. If its insane attention to detail isn't impressive enough, the thing actually fires rubber bands.

You can see PlumBrothers' creation in action in the video below. It features removable magazines, semi- and auto-fire modes, and a working safety mechanism. And yes, the chainsaw is motorized. The video shows how the LEGO Lancer works and how it was assembled. Egad, it's...beautiful.

Thanks for the tip, LaserJEFF!

  • That's insane.
  • My new favorite inventor.

  • This is nuts. By far the most complicated Lego item I've seen. The ability to switch from semi to fully automatic is pretty zany.
  • id have been more impressed if he nailed the active reload
  • That is something I would never have the time or patience for. Really cool.
