Syndicate Reboot Coming In February
By now you know that Starbreeze and EA are teaming up to bring the classic PC series Syndicate to modern gamers. When exactly you'd be able to check out how the tactics-based gameplay translated to an FPS was a mystery, however. At least it was until now. EA has revealed the North America release date, and it's only a few months away.
The new Syndicate game will be arriving on consoles on February 21, 2012. There's no official word yet on when the PC version will be arriving.
EA is promising at least some of the depth that the original games delivered, including key components such as tech research and some of the game's more iconic weapons (Persuadatron, anyone?). And, of course, trenchcoats. We'll have more on the game in the weeks to come.
