GameStop and Virgin Gaming Team Up For NBA 2K12 Tourney
Think you can hoop with the best of the best? Put your money where your mouth is in this $100,000 Tip Off Tournament.
Rather than giving one exceptional baller the $100K, the purse is being split up. The winner of the tourney will receive $15,000. To join the co-sponsored online tournament, you need to purchase a copy of NBA 2K12 from GameStop before October 28 and register at Virgingaming.com. The tournament kicks off on October 15, so my guess is there will be several weekly tournaments on both platforms rather than just one big shebang.
NBA 2K12 ships for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 4. Look for our review next week. I've been playing it for a couple weeks now, and I can't wait to share my thoughts.
