[Update]: Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition Available Now

by Dan Ryckert on Sep 28, 2011 at 06:51 AM

[Update]: 3DS and DSi owners can now download a free copy of The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary, which has been updated with a new single-player mode. But you'll have to act fast.

Or fast-ish, anyway: Four Swords will only be available for free until February 20 next year. So, you know, get to it. At some point.

The game is available under the free section of DSi Ware for the Nintendo DSi/DSi XL, and the eShop on the Nintendo 3DS.

[Original Story]: Nintendo has been all about the free downloads lately. First, we had Excitebike served to us at no cost on 3DS. Then, the company announced they'd be giving 20 free games to 3DS ambassadors. Now, you'll be able to get Link's GBA multiplayer adventure next month without spending a dime.

No specific date has been announced yet, but we know it'll launch on the eShop sometime in September.
