City Of Heroes Now Officially Free-To-Play
We've known about original superhero MMO City of Heroes going free-to-play for a while now, but the day has finally come. City of Heroes Freedom has gone live, opening up the world of Paragon City to a flood of new, non-paying players.
The free-to-play version of City of Heroes will allow new players to create characters and work up to level 50 for no cost whatsoever. Player will have the option to pay micro-transactions for new pieces of content ranging from areas and missions to costume parts and powers. Some features, such as the end-game Incarnate System, will still require becoming a full-on subscriber if you want to gain access.
