Isaac Clarke on Hoth? Maybe. The recent scuttlebutt on Dead Space 3 may reveal the new location and some major plot points for the sequel.
If this ends up being true, keep in mind that the following information will contain spoilers.
Siliconera claims to have word from a trusted source that Isaac crash lands on a snowy wasteland, and eventually makes his way to an unmanned waystation. He eventually runs into Ellie, the one of the few survivors from Dead Space 2’s Sprawl. Ellie, Isaac, and a third survivor are rumored to climb a mountain mid-blizzard, complete with mysterious monster noises. The enemy of Dead Space 3 is supposedly the “hive mind.”
We can’t be certain whether any of this is true or not, but the scenario does sound pretty awesome. Would you play a Dead Space set on a frozen planet?

I hope they don't have the Hive Mind again, that boss was a joke, even more so than the rest of the original Dead Space's bosses.
As long is it is scary and an excellent story I will play just give me a date!!!!
It would certainly spice up the environments a bit more. Maybe add some blues and whites with a snow planet and all.
Sounds good...unless we see more of the drab industrial vistas with greys and browns. Ick.

If the title reads "Dead Space" I will buy and get the platinum trophy in it. I absolutely will buy and play it!!!and I agree with Ben's comment 100%! I dont think the plot matter if its Dead Space its gonna be played.
I have to one up you Mr. Reeves. I would play this game set in a Florida retirement home with lady gaga music playing the whole time.
I probably would; I haven't played the previous 2 games and I'm dissapointed that I didn't. I'm hoping that I would be able to buy the 3rd game.

ooooh The Thing instantly comes to mind. If that is true its an instant buy for me.
I know it's been said a bunch of times already but it definitely sounds like the Thing. The one problem though is that the main scare factor in arctic places is the fear of hypothermia which I wouldn't think would be a problem in a high tech space world with full body suits. But not being able to see through a blizzard would also be pretty scary though. I can't wait and I'll definitely have to platinum the first one and finish the 2nd one before 3 comes out though

I played the Dead space 2 demo, and shut off my xbox after the first enemy :P. I'll try and man up and play through this one, as i played the first one with my friend and loved it.
Dead Space 2 was kinda boring. Hopefully they can rekindle the fire that was so great about the first game with a new environment.

Although I must say, the best thing about Dead Space 2 was traveling back to the Ishimura. Weird.
