The lights are on
Ninja Theory is currently working on the new Devil May Cry prequel for Capcom, but if you had any hopes that the studio was also secretly working on a sequel to last year's post apocalyptic adventure Enslaved, you’d better be patient.
Enslaved received some generally favorable reviews, but the game didn’t sell as well as Namco or Ninja Theory had hoped. "Enslaved should have done better," Ninja Theory co-founder Tameem Antoniades recently told Edge Magazine. "Right now we should have been doing a sequel and perfecting that sequel and doing what franchises do, which is get better over time. [But] because that didn't happen we've not expanded to two teams like we intended to. So we've remained a smaller shop. But now we get another chance with DMC."
According to CVG, Enslaved sold well short of a million copies. Hopefully Ninja Theory’s DMC fairs, better, because we’d love to see Ninja Theory have the freedom to explore more games in the vein of Enslaved.

That stinks. I actually like that game.
Hopefully this means they'll go extra hard with DMC.
I thought Enslaved was a little rough but an overall pleasant experience. Hopefully DmC is what will put them on the map.
I played the game and loved it...it felt like it borrowed elements from Uncharted and Heavenly Sword...
I enjoyed the game and hope that in the future they have a chance to do a sequel.
Hopefully Ninja Theory changes their mind.
Man, I love Enslaved, this is a bummer.
I really liked Enslaved, I thought it provided a great (and much needed) platforming/action experience. I would love to see them make another one although I am also hopeful for DMC.
the problem with their games are that the controls are weird, there is no replay value whatsoever...but they have original ideas that i can encourage them by buyinig their producy...but i dont trust them with devil may cry, they will screw it up i feel...
That really does suck Enslaved was one of my favorite games last year hopefully they will return too it in the future maybe
i could do with more heavenly sword
I loved Enslaved and it needs a continuation to the story. It will probably become one of those games that are more appreciated with age.
I thought Enslaved was a good game. Could have been a little more difficult with the platforming segments, but the story was great and I liked the look of it.
I love that game! It deserves so much better...
