  • The moment of truth.

EDIT: Quad-core CPU? To my knowledge games perform better on dual-core processors. They need more frequency than cores.

EDIT 2: Nice to know games are now optimised for quad-cores. I haven't upgraded my PC in a while, so I wasn't too aware of that.
  • yeay I meet recommended :D (an a lil over)
  • I though I was going to be able to play it and then I saw that the requirements for Windows 7 was below. I really need to get a desktop but I'm getting it on PS3 anyways; just wanted to see how well I did. XD
  • I have windows XP ... oh no!
  • my machine can take the minimum specs and a bit more but i think i will upgrade it or just build another rig

  • Keyboard and Mouse? Eff these requirements are strict.
  • My laptop will be able to play it no problem.

  • no keyboard or mouse :(
  • Another reason why console gaming is superior: YOU DON`T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ALL THIS $HIT!!!
  • Nice just picked up a GTX 560. I meet recommended, although my Memory is way better than recommended. Exciting! For anyone looking at getting a new card. Newegg is having a deal on the GTX 500 series where you get a copy of Arkham City for free. I know it's not BF3, and it might be getting delayed for PC, but still a brand new triple A title just for upgrading your PC is a pretty awesome deal to me.
  • Anyone know if the recommended specs will run the game on the highest setting? I've always been a little confused when it comes to what's recommended and what you actually need to run a game on ultra settings.....
  • You forgot to add the Origin client to the list. You will need that (garbage) installed regardless of the BF3 purchase method.
  • poor kids
  • I have the exact recommended system...
  • My pc can only handle fallout 3 and new vegas.
  • recommended, hell yeah XD

  • man i respect you pc gamers for the skill you all have, but dang those pc's are very expensive, cudo's to you guys for shelling out all that money, but those games look dang good though.
  • *looks at GPU* y u no dx11?
  • *phew!* I'm straight.

    EDIT:(SPECSwise...for the comedians)
  • Yes, I built my rig for this. I got a GTX 580, so Im good to go. Cant wait for this game!
