A leaked document may have the answer.

If this indistinct and blurry picture is any indication, the upcoming Wii U installment of the popular fighting game will be called Super Smash Bros. Universe. In the logo, note that the "U" in "Universe" matches the "U" in the "Wii U" logo.

That cutesy cross-promotional logo vibe has Nintendo written all over it, so we're betting this is legit. World record attempt makers had best plan on a Wii U purchase.

Well, yet again, I'm buying a Nintendo console (just like the Wii) and the only games I'm sure I'll buy are Zelda and Smash Bros.

I think Nintendo will do some DLC for Wii U to continue their games and Smash Bros is the perfect game for Nintendo DLC. Give us what we got now and when more games and characters are made along the way of Wii U's lifespan they can add more characters for DLC. Lets not forget 3rd party characters. Like if they have a character or weapons that Capcom thinks will go well in Smash Bros they can ask to put it up for DLC. That's just an idea. I know a Tekken character will make a killing for DLC.

Yes! Universe probably means we're going to see lots of unexpected appearences, more then the past games. Any news on the new Smash Bros makes me a Happy Sandwich
