The lights are on
Update: The statue is now available for pre-order, and like most of First 4 Figures statues comes in two versions. The image above is the standard version, which is limited to 1,500 units and carries a sticker price of $424.99. First 4 Figures hopes to ship this statue in the second quarter of 2012. The "exclusive" edition, which features a bronze finish (and looks a bit odd, in my opinion), is limited to 50 units and is a bit more expensive at $449.99.
Original Story: The teaser image above gives a small taste of a statue Zelda fans have been demanding for years. First 4 Figures plans to show the full statue tomorrow on its website, but has dropped a few hints about what fans can expect from it. Just know this: It's huge. First 4 Figures says it is the heaviest and largest sculpt they've ever made (17 inches tall and 16 inches from front to back). This sculpt is based off of the character models from Twilight Princess.
Along with the full unveiling, pre-orders will begin tomorrow. Given the size of this statue, I'm guessing we'll be looking at $300 plus. Start smashing those pots, Zelda fans. You're going to need every rupee you can find to add this beauty to your collection.

Nice to have, but too expensive and More importantly too big to display since I'm not a collectable person who keeps things in the box.
