Listen To Coheed And Cambria's New Song From The Batman: Arkham City Album

Video games often have an accompanying score CD that features music from the game, but Batman: Arkham City is getting 12 new tracks from a variety of bands. Take a listen to one of them now.

IGN debuted Coheed and Cambria's new song "Deranged" today. After listening to the track, it sounds like it'll appeal to fans of the band with a lot of Coheed's signature harmonies and dark tones. There's even a Joker-esque laugh sprinkled in there somewhere.

What do you think? Any other songs from the album you're looking forward to hearing when it drops on October 4?

    This game is gonna be good, but the bands they got for the soundtrack pretty much suck. :/

    Not the kind of music i would expect batman to listen to, let alone myself. Emo music kind of just isn't that good.

    Neat. Very groovy track and C+C get better over time. Most of the soundtrack is awful, though.

    The song's not my cup of tea. It's only one song in the soundtrack, so I guess there's still hope.

    Wait... Batman never was emo. Anyway, it fits the dark tone, but I highly doubt Batman would listen to this. Not my cup of tea, but good thing I have no reason to purchase the soundtrack.

    People need to really stop calling something emo, if they don't even know the difference between that and Alternative,rock,punk, etc. They seem foolish when they do.

    Wow Coheed and Cambria has got to be the all time most homosexual band that has ever been created. Why would they ruin such a bad ass looking game with horrible music? An original score would have been the best way to fly. Couldnt they at least throw in some metal or something? *** COHEED AND CAMBRIA AND THIS WHOLE SOUNDTRACK!!!!!! ( AND POSSIBLY THE GAME ITSSELF FOR LETTING THIS HAPPEN)

    Ugh I do not like Coheed and Cambria. Their singer annoys me with his voice. Guess there just not the band for me.

    I actually really like the music of Coheed and Cambria....it's the singers VOICE that I have a hard time liking. Not a bad band by any means, just not my cup of tea.

    This song actually isn't half bad. I've never listened to Coheed and Cambria before but this isn't too bad.
