The lights are on
Ubisoft is spreading the word that the Assassin's Creed: Revelations beta is available for download today in advance of the opening of the beta tomorrow, September 3rd. The beta will then run until September 11th. The early look at the game will be open to Uplay members or PlayStation Plus members. The beta is aiming to include a lot of fun options, detailed in our original story, below.
Will you be assassinating friends this weekend?
Original Story:
PlayStation gamers will be the first to get their hands on all the new assassination tools when the beta opens in just a few weeks. September 3 could be an exciting day for many Assassin's Creed fans, at least if you happen to also be a PS3 owner. That's the day that Ubisoft plans to release the multiplayer beta for Assassin's Creed Revelations as a timed exclusive on the PlayStation 3. The exclusive lasts for a full week from September 3rd to the 11th. To get access to the beta, you'll need to be a member of either PlayStation Plus or Uplay. The latter is free. The multiplayer beta sounds like it's got some pretty hefty content included. Players will have the choice of nine different character skins, including the Sentinel, the Vanguard, the Guardian, the Vizier, the Thespian, the Deacon, the Bombardier, the Trickster, and the Champion. There will be three playable maps and four different gameplay modes, including Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch, and Artifact Assault. Ubisoft promises that all of that content is only a "sample of the final multiplayer content."No matter what system you play on, Assassin's Creed Revelations will show up in its final form on November 15th.

this will be cool
Hooray! The beta for Brotherhood sold me on multiplayer in Assassin's Creed, so hopefully this one can increase my anticipation for Revelations.
Noice mate. Now, just need to make that Uplay account and I'll be set.
I absolutely fell in love w/ ACB's MP i was really surprised. Sadly it didn't have much legs though as I was fully complete in a mere week. Hopefully this will have been remedied. Also from this article, it sounds like us 360 users to get to play it for a little while after the ps3 exclusive window or its only one week period could anyone confirm?
Dope!!
Assassins Creed has had a tendency to improve with sequals. Let's hope the multiplayer is a dramatic step forward. Also, screw templar vision!
Nothing for the 360!!?
AWESOME
Even though I don't own ps3, I'm excited to look forward to play the AC beta because I have a friend who happens to own ps3. So, I will use him to play the beta on Sept. 3. :p
