The lights are on
Gears of War 3 drops Sept. 20, but Microsoft and Epic Games want you
to think even further ahead. The game will have a variety of
post-release DLC, and players who purchase the game's newly announced
Season Pass will get access to the first four add-ons as well as an
exclusive Liquid Metal weapons set.
The Season Pass will
set you back 2,400 Microsoft, or about $30, saving players who buy it 33
percent over the cost of buying each DLC pack individually. The pass
will be available the day the game launches. There's no word on what the
upcoming DLC will include, but Microsoft says the first pack will go
live this November.
What do you think? Do you plan on buying the
content sight unseen anyway, or would you rather wait to see what you're
buying before you commit to this kind of package deal?

This game is gonna be the *** regardless if you dont get the DLC
I'll be getting this. 600 msp per DLC isn't bad at all.
Lol. I'm spending over $700 on Gears of War 3 things, spending $30 for the next 4 dlc's and a weapon skin pack is a no brainer for me.
Sounds like a deal to me!
I tend not to buy map packs on principle. I'm deciding between Gears and Battlefield for a launch pickup, because I have to wait till Christmas for the other
Count me in EPIC! CliffyB needs some extra cash for his upcoming wedding!
might as well get it now for less
now i know what to spend my points on
I'm in 4 map packs for only the price of two map packs from cod with double the content (since maps work for both hoard and multiplayer.) I'd be stupid not to do it (though i got 19 maps on gow2 for 5 bucks so this isn't as good.)
