Twisted Metal Creator Hearts You, Reveals Release Date
Twisted Metal slid into a 2012 release earlier this month. Creator David Jaffe said that the team at Eat Sleep Play needed more time to deliver the best game. Today Jaffe quantified the amount of extra time required with the announcement of Twisted Metal's release date.
The game will be coming next Valentine's Day, or February 14th if you're not into calendars. Jaffe joked in a video that the timing couldn't be better. "It is a very romantic game, as you know. Here's what I predict is going to happen: You're going to have people going out to very romantic dinners and coming home and playing the crap out of local split-screen, and then obviously you know what happens after that. Because you know there's nothing more romantic than blowing your significant other up with a maniacal, demonic ice-cream truck."
