[Original Story]:On September 6, Del Rey and LucasBooks will release a special 20th anniversary edition of Timothy Zahn's incredible Star Wars: Heir to the Empire. This new edition features annotations from Zahn and a new novella focusing on Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Almost every editor in the Game Informer office has read this book, and all conversations about it beginning with the phrase: "This is the trilogy George Lucas should have filmed instead of Episodes I-III."

Judging from the little taste that i got from the chapter above, this definitely looks like it deserves a read. Hopefully i'll win but if not i think ill definitely buy.

As a huge Star Wars fan, I've been wanting to read this. Perhaps this new version will finally give me a reason to go pick it up. The author's comments are really cool and seem like they will add some cool extra details to the book

Great, I'd like to enter. I think this is much more.......envisioning? Not to sure what's going on. Who is Davis? And isn't Coruscant an Empire place, so why would Han go there?

Personally I like Dark Force Rising much better. I think the whole ghost ship fleet idea is super cool. And I really want to know what happened to everyone on it. Anyway, this book is awesome too. Almost everything about Zahn is great. Also, LOL at the tag 'weird force killing slugs' :)

seems like a good read. im an avid reader and a huge star wars fan. i can thank my mom for being a star wars fan, she got me the original trilogy for christmas when i was 3.

Nice, I must agree hearing the story about the aftermath of the empires defeat and death of the sith lord would have been a better trilogy. But also it might have been harder to make and for fans to accept since Harrison Ford was a Boss as Han Solo, but now I want to read this book!

I love this trilogy, and Zahn's new annotations fascinate me. These are the books that made me forever a Star Wars nerd. For crying out loud, my gamertag starts with "Thrawn" =)

Somehow I missed these books originally even if I don't win definitely checking it out when it releases.
