Game Developers Choice Online Awards Finalists Announced

by Matt Bertz on Aug 23, 2011 at 07:49 AM

It's award season already? Like the daytime Emmy awards, the Game Developers Choice Online Awards take place whenever they please.

Since the blockbuster console games dominate the Game Developers Choice Awards, which is celebrated annually during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, the organization created this spin-off awards show to recognize the best work being done in the emerging MMO, free-to-play, and social network spaces.

So who are this year's front-runners favorites? Sega/Three Rings Design's co-op RPG Spiral Knights leads the pack with four nominations.
