Today during their Gamescom 2011 press conference, Sony showed DanceStar Party. The spiritual sibling to SingStar, DanceStar Party will allow fans of rug cutting a new outlet.

The PlayStation Move-enabled game allows players access to 40 tracks by various artists. It supports a dance creator mode, which allows would-be choreographers to arrange their own dance moves. Each performance can be recorded, so you can immediately upload them to the internet and embarrass friends with two left feet. Dancers with fitness goals can use the workout mode to shed a few pounds.

The DanceStar Party demonstration concluded with a live performance by what looked to be a professional dancing troupe. The leader held two PlayStation Move controllers while those around him danced to what sounded like the soundtrack to the film Saw mixed with dubstep. It was a unique.
