Cole Becomes A Vampire In New Infamous 2 Adventure
The onslaught of new content being revealed at Sony's Gamescom press conference continues with an Infamous 2 expansion that has Cole MacGrath battling a city full of vampires.
After a brief trailer that teased a vampire Cole (complete with fangs and glowing red eyes), Sony Europe's senior VP Michael Denny announced that the adventure, entitled Festival Of Blood, will be a "new game" available on the PlayStation Store. We're not sure if it's DLC or a standalone title, but the premise is a surprising departure, even for a series about super heroes. According to Denny, vampires have descended upon New Marais, and Cole has become one of their victims. He'll have one night to track down and kill the head vampire in order to save himself from the curse. Denny didn't say anything about new powers, but the trailer did show Cole feeding on a hapless human, so we're guessing we'll see at least some new gameplay mechanics.
