Max & The Magic Marker Coming To DS

The clever little platformer is making its way to a system that should be quite friendly to its unique control options.

Max & the Magic Marker has players navigating through platforming stages while drawing new objects onto the screen in order to progress. Earlier versions of the game enabled this functionality with an onscreen cursor. The ability to use a stylus and touch screen on the Nintendo DS may be a better option, and allow the gameplay to feel even better.

The new DS version of the game is expected to come out this holiday, published by Easy Interactive.

  • And why not for 3DS? It needs more games, even if it are bad, good or a really sh$%&
  • Huh? I could've sworn I saw a review of this in Nintendo Power about a year ago...
  • Awesome. I could always use more DS games.

  • I played the demo of this on WP7. This should be on 3DS but I'll get it anyway.

  • Harold and the Purple Crayon was one of my favorite books as a child.
  • I would've thought it was already on the DS

  • ***, I was thinking Max from Sam & Max....

  • I sounds like it has the same premise as Scribblenauts. Plus, Max and Maxwell, anyone?
  • I paid $1.99 for this on my iPad.  Wonder what DS owners are going to have to pay for it on a screen half it's size. :)

  • Not very interesting, but I guess it adds on the the DS's large library.

  • did this remind anyone else of Harold and his purple crayon?
  • Sadly this doesn't look appealing at all...

  • Very fun title, and will be a heck of a lot more fun with stylus support as well.

  • This doesn't really sound that appealing, but you never know.  I might actually find it to be fun.  Of course, if I hadn't sold my DS already...
